ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Notice is ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from agencies/firms for a Marketing and Communications Brand and Media Strategy for Jefferson College. Qualifications will be received by The Community College District of Jefferson County until 2:30 p.m., Thursday, May 16, 2024. The Contractor will be awarded a one-year contract with an option to renew annually for a period of two years subject to conditions and terms as described in the RFQ. Bidders may download Contract Documents beginning on Friday, April 26, 2024 from www.jeffco.edu/bids. Hard copy Contract Documents may be obtained in person from Kayla Barren in the Business Office at the Jefferson College Hillsboro Campus - Administration Building. Contact information may be found within the Contract Documents if there are additional questions. Jefferson College reserves the right to reject any or all qualification submittals and to waive any informality and irregularity in the qualifications and to select the contractor that is in the best interest of the college and in compliance with the terms set forth herein. Jefferson College is an Equal Opportunity Employer and invites the submission of proposals from minority and women-owned firms. All contractors must provide a sworn affidavit affirming participation in a federal work authorization program stating that the contractor does not knowingly employ any person who is not authorized to work in the U.S. The contractor must comply with current Prevailing Wage Laws, and other statutory regulations as referred to in the specifications. ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Notice is ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the Fire Science project will be received by Jennifer Baine at Jefferson College, Administration Building, 1000 Viking Drive, Hillsboro, MO 63050 until 2:00pm on Thursday, May 30, 2024. All proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked Fire Science. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in the Buildings and Grounds Meeting Room on the Hillsboro Campus on Thursday, May 30, 2024, immediately following the 2:00pm proposal due time. Each bid shall include a five percent (5%) bid security in the form of a bid bond executed by the bidder and an approved Surety Company. The Fire Science project consists of demo of existing site elements, site development, concrete slabs, and utility extension to the proposed site. Bidders may obtain Contract Documents beginning on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024, from: County Blue Reprographics, 811 Hanley Industrial Ct, Brentwood, MO 63144, Phone: 314-961-3800. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING JEFFERSON NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING JEFFERSON COUNTY, MISSOURI, COUNTY COUNCIL In accordance with §304.130 RSMo, and to promote the public health, safety, and general welfare, and to protect the life and property of those using the roads in Jefferson County, Missouri, the Jefferson County, Missouri, County Council will hold three public hearings regarding amendments to the existing traffic code and Code of Ordinances for Jefferson County, Missouri, controlling vehicular traffic upon the public roads and highways in the unincorporated territory of Jefferson County, Missouri. The times and dates for said public hearings are as follows: Tuesday, May 28, 2024 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 10, 2024 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 24, 2024 6:30 p.m. Citizens of Jefferson County are urged to attend these public hearings, held in the Assembly Room in the Jefferson County Administration Center, 729 Maple Street, Hillsboro, Missouri, and will be asked to submit comments or input, in writing to the County Council. NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS OF PUBLIC NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS OF PUBLIC WATER SUPPLY DISTRICT 6 Water rates are scheduled to increase June 1st, 2024 for customers of Public Water Supply District 6 and will be reflected on July 2024 billings. The current monthly minimum charge for the first 0-1,000 gallons of $15.76 will change to a monthly minimum charge of $16.55. All additional usage will be charged at $7.21 per 1,000 gallons. Factors contributing to the rate increase include the rising costs of operations, maintenance, utilities, debt service and funding for capital reserves, depreciation and improvements. Capital improvements include interconnections of water mains throughout the service area, replacement of current aging infrastructure & mainline extensions that will help improve fire flow throughout the community.
